Launching Open Strategy Finland community

OpenStrategy.fi is a new national community focused on the intersection of strategy research and strategic practice.

Originating from a research initiative at Aalto University, the community brings together scholars and practitioners interested in how strategy is actually made—through everyday practices, interactions, and decisions—and how more open and participatory approaches can be studied and developed.

Our work is grounded in the Strategy-as-Practice perspective, which views strategy as something people do rather than something organizations simply have. This lens helps connect academic research with real-world strategizing by focusing on concrete practices, actors, and contexts.

OpenStrategy.fi is built in collaboration with Aalto University, University of Turku, Tampere University, and Noren Consulting, and is internationally connected to the Open Strategy Network.

The community serves as a shared space for dialogue, research collaboration, and learning across organizational and disciplinary boundaries.
