The 4th Open Strategy Workshop in Helsinki, Finland, brings together international academic researchers at all career stages, corporate executives, and strategy consultants to tackle one of the defining questions of our time: how do organizations strike the right balance between open strategizing, democratic participation, and effective executive decision-making?

To advance this conversation during a period of rapid AI development, OS27 is a three-day scientific and practical journey: Day 0 focuses on PhD paper development and research roundtables; Day 1 delivers a high-calibre academic programme at Aalto University's Marsio; and Day 2 moves into corporate application at our partner's auditorium and premises in central Helsinki.

What sets OS27 apart is the radical integration of art and corporate practice — brought to life through our organising partnership with consultancy Noren and with artistic content woven throughout the programme in collaboration with the OAF Academy (Outsider Art Festival). OS27 is officially organised as institutional collaboration between the University of Turku Centre for Collaborative Research, Aalto University Deparment of Industrial Engineering and Management, and the University of Tampere´s Experience Economy Program.
